If they'd done it within the first few chapters of Season 1, nobody would've complained, just like Love Junkie. The problem is that they spent the entire season making readers feel like this was a one to one romance through all that emotional buildup. You're the only one being ridiculous here
Exactly! If I had known from the beginning that it would be a threesome, it would have been fine, but the entire season was spent showing the romance between these two, and adding romantic interactions with a third person at this point feels like cheating, and I don't like that.
