Some stories give the butterflies when characters say “I love you” to each other but I’m just not feeling it with this main couple. I still can’t get over how unromantic their whole arc was until we got outta NOWHERE the “actually they knew each other as teens” bullshit plotline. Calling it bullshit bc there was no foreshadowing properly done whatsoever and it felt really unbelievable seme would treat the “love of his teen years” that way. I mean are we gonna gloss over how in the first chapters he was literally having sex with others in front of uke. Asides form his general mistreatment of him. That’s not to say the second ML was a lot better bc he also sucked. I like toxic BL but this is making me mad maybe bc there’s children involved and main ML still gives greasy vibes. I’m still gonna read though bc I’m curious about what’s gonna go down with the side characters
