Personally, I found this quite similar to "Beyond the Memories", and I've seen conflicted opinions about both these stories as well. But for me, I think both really emphasizes the mc's own will in finding happiness on their own terms. It's just that they chose to forgive and include the ml in it. Though it really is a bit sad that their plots revolved around repulsive acts under the excuse of love in the first place, I like to think that a person given a chance to rewrite their fate after being sent back to the past would like to fix what had happened and turn the events into a more favorable outcome if they truly loved the person despite their twisted personality. Though there are a few plot holes that does leave me a bit curious, such as what happened to the first personality in the "Silence" world, or who exactly was the author of the book, why and how were they given a chance to go to the illusionary world and back to the original one, it was still a fairly good read. In the end, their love clearly was a mutual choice made by both of them, even for the mc, after careful consideration of the worst scenario that had once happened. But maybe it's just me, so definitely give this a read from start to finish before forming your own opinion on it.
