Hard agree. It’s a tragedy that accurately depicts the devastating reality of mental illness, not a standard dramatic plot for cheap entertainment. A lot of readers in similar clearly lack the maturity required for stories with such heavy themes. It’s honestly so sad to see people lacking maturity and empathy when reading stories like this.
Sahan is one of the most beautiful novel about depression and the manhwa adaptation doesn’t disappoint. I can see the artist honoring the source material and try their best to convey the same feelings. Would always recommend the novel to everyone BUT please only read this kind of story when you’re in healthy mental space. Because it can make people spiraling not in good way. That scene when they reveal why he got accepted for the moon made me hyperventilating then I cried myself to sleep.

The comment sections for end of season 1 here just proved my point that a lot of readers here are either minors, adults with childish mentality, or sociopath. Some of you don't have the capacity to read mature themes. You don't need to be an empath to understand that this is simply a tragedy, no one is at fault. This is the sad reality of mental illness. The writer doesn't write this to be dramatic, if anything they're very adversed in how depression could destroy someone's life. Rather than loudly complaining about the story and the writer, maybe just stop reading and spare us - the reader that's looking for real discussion about the story - from having to scroll through your tantrum.
The irony is, some sociopathic comments also come from people who condemned other author/readers about "rapey stories" and trying to cancel and shamed them. Disgusting behavior and clearly shows no real empathy as human being. Good luck sitting on that high horse and being loud obnoxious fake person.
