Well, following ppl on this site actually does nothing so you can just leave it. If it bothers you then click on their profile and unfollow.
u didn't follow people, you followed a topic. its fine, it doesnt really do anything other than make u get notifications for that topic without having engaged in it. just wait a little bit and everything will be the same
Oh it was a topic. Yeah nothing you can do about that. I did it once, accidentally. I kept getting notifications until it wasn't a hot topic anymore and no one replied to it. Just wait it out.

Haha it's fine. At least you got to know a little more about this site. Same goes for me. Following ppl here actually does something. I just never clicked on it. You see the 3 lines beside notification? After clicking on it click on your own name (it's in yellow). Then you'll see all the activities of the ppl you follow. What topics they created (basically comments and questions), who they followed, what titles they added to their list. Basically everything. I didn't know that.
yes because you didn't follow anyone, that follow you clicked was to follow a topic. not to follow a person. go to the comments and you'll see "follow" under all the topics, all that happens when you click "follow" is that you get notifications for that topic. you can't unfollow a topic. just leave it be, because eventually when there's no more people replying to the topic you followed, it'll be as if you didn't follow the topic at all.
I accidentally follow two ppl does anyone know how to unfollow!
