Like Guwon said, he sees them all like pets - beneath him - and yet they all still follow him whether out of a survival instinct or admiration for his strength. Unlike the townspeople and the red head, the other Hounds don't get hung up on what Guwon does because most of it is to survive at the top. Teach will only be important to Guwon, the Hounds will protect Teach but they will not respect him and may take him out if they need to survive. They will definitely need to be dealt with, because they will fight to ensure that Guwon does not die to begin with.
