So I'm reading the novel and the description is something like "inability to harm leaving beings of the same race"
It described even an attempt to jump off a buildings with him unintentionally falling back instead of forward. And when in a pillow fight with friends an "invisible curtain bounced his pillow back". So I guess it means any means possible. I imagine it comes from intent.

But hypothetically speaking, what if he just walks on an empty highway and wait for rush hour? Would the traffic just not come? Would the vehicles just not hit? Would they swerve? But that’d be dangerous for the driver, so idk if that’s gonna happen. Or does he just bounce off the car and walk off just fine? Or would the vehicle just magically stop, even if it was speeding?
How would the monsters be counted? He can get injured from them, but would it not count as intentionally endangerment as long as he enters dungeons seeking death? Or does other’s malicious intent override his own suicidal tendencies? Now I’m just imagining him rage baiting others trying to get beaten up

I don't think even he knows about the monsters. Bc the only dungeon he entered before Chord was the 2 great dungeon. And about the cars I guess if he goes with intent he is just unable to walk? Or maybe if he's already at the middle and resolved to not move it would bounce bc remember he can't harm others, so others wouldn't be harmed. And the intent of others most likely can kill him as we saw with the tea from MLs brother
This is just what-ifs bc it's not really brought up up till the chapter I'm reading. But I can tell you he can't harm others even for self defense. Like when he's being dragged around by ML or kidnapped by others he can't really get out using force.

He can’t hurt himself or anyone else at all. He can’t even cut a steak. Is that bc it would count as defilement of a corpse even if it does come from another living organism? How is he able to chew it then? Or is eating categorized differently? Can he cook? Do plants count under the living beings rule?
Does the self harm rule also apply to gravity? Like falling off a cliff, is he just unable to do that physically or does he take no damage? Bc of the steak example, I’m more inclined to believe it’s the latter, any injury is restored instantly basically. Or does he feel the pain, but it’d get better instantly.
What about drowning? Is he unable to enter the water or does the water do no damage to him? In the case of the latter, bro’s basically invincible (as long as he got suicidal thoughts?). What if he fell asleep in a bathtub? There would be no intent as it’d be an accident, so would the damage register then?
What if he did a bunch of extreme sports and got into an accident, would the injury/fatality affect him?
How would a car accident impact him? Can he drive his vehicle at high speeds and die from crashing (direct) or the flames and whatever comes after (indirect)?
What if someone else hits him w/ a car? Thats not really self harm, but it can be if he just runs towards a moving vehicle. How much does intent count towards this self harm rule? This rule feels pretty vague.
