Just finished. And this was true peak at its finest. At first, I really hated Chase for the way his actions were in the beginning, but he’s truly grown on me. Josh, on the other hand, is by far the coolest MC I’ve seen so far, especially when he fights off those coyotes and kidnappers. My jaw was literally on the floor at how cool he looked, omg.
The story is so good, honestly. I love the plot, I love the relationship between these two, especially how Josh is actually willing to swing at Chase whenever he throws a punch at him. The bodyguards are pretty funny, and I do like most of the side characters; however, the whole family situation with Chase is so fucked up that I really felt bad for him after I read all that.
This BL has REALLY GOOD WRITING, and I honestly cannot wait for Chase to figure out that he fathered Josh’s kid-, speaking about Pete, I really need more scenes with the kid, he’s so cute! A day where Josh spends the day with Pete at least.
