Cuz let's be fr. Without the mc/fls in this stories, their kingdom/empire would COLLAPSE. There would be so much damage done, and most of the times the kings get killed too. AND, if they r lucky, sometimes the ml comes and saves the kingdom, but there is alrdy damage done alrdy. So many ppl would lose their life, job, and etc. I'm not saying it's not a bad idea to be neutral when it comes to choosing a heir, but u srsly won't do anything if one party does something bad??? Like srsly?? Just for the sake of being neutral?? It's dumb imo. Cuz what IF the perfect heir u thought was unexpectedly killed? Now what. U gotta make the dumb and evil kid the heir now.
Re-reading this, and it made me remember how I srsly dislike the ml's dad. Like.. how is it beneficial to be neutral, by just dismissing or closing ur eyes whenever something bad happens..??
