I see some latinos complaining about Angel being stereotypical. Maybe it's just me but if I were to read a story where the MC/MLI is filipino, named Mark Anthony Garcia Punsalan, is an OFW caretaker/nurse, and has a big family he has to send money to in the Philippines with this type of story, I'd be really stoked even though it's very stereotypical. I think, considering the author is Korean, it seems like they did a pretty decent job at researching. It can get really hard researching about stuff about a different country that's so vastly different from yours. ik bcs i also research about america and even learning about school there took me a while lol.
Anyway, love the story. (▰˘◡˘▰)The older I get, the less angst I want from the stories I read. I love lighthearted stories like this. I honestly almost gave up on it when Josh's rival was doing Angel cus I thought the story would be like those toxic, rape-y, overly possessive BLs. Glad I stayed though.
