Well idk the whole story cus i never read the novel but i heard spoilers and they just said he acted like an total asshole after his memory got back, which IS valid cus he was gaslit, manipulated into believing he was her husband and everything. Let's not forget the guy literally tried to kill her and get rid of her in first chap, he was never the sweetest guy alive, he was just lost and decided to act like those around him after he lost mem idk how far he goes after his mem returns tho, im guessing he gives her silent treatment or humiliates her or som shi before they go back to lovely dovely??

Well I didn't read the novel either, but someone here spoiled me and apparently he forces her to have s*x with him multiple times (r*pe) and one time he forced her to give him oral s*x to the point that she starts bleeding (her throat)
