Idk why this book gets so many bad reviews because I was genuinely hooked. I mean, if you know you're picking up a love triangle, then you should be prepared for literally anything.
The art was a little... ahem... for me in the beginning, but it really grew on me. By the end, I actually loved it.
I didn't find Joowon attractive at all, and honestly, I didn't even like him at first. For some reason, I was convinced Taku was going to be the endgame, so yeah... I was disappointed. Or maybe not?
Of course I was rooting for Taku, but the more I read, the more I understood why it couldn't have been him. They had just met. You don't just fall deeply in love with someone overnight, so in the end, it only made sense.
At first, I genuinely felt like Joowon didn't deserve Haeso at all. But by the end, I realized that if Joowon didn't deserve him... then no one else did either.
They were just two confused people who loved each other, hurt each other, kept making mistakes, and somehow still couldn't let each other go. Their relationship was messy, frustrating, toxic, and yet so deeply and undeniably rooted in love.
No one knew them better than they knew each other. No one understood them the way they understood each other, and no one could've loved either of them the way they loved each other.....guess that's just how it is sometimes. So honestly, I was genuinely happy they ended up together.
And also I would like to add that all of them were still so young, all 3 of them. Of course the way they loved was childish, immature, selfish, messy, frustrating, and sometimes downright annoying. But that's exactly what being young is—you make mistakes, you hurt people, you learn, and you grow. I genuinely don't see a reason to hate any of them for that.
I really liked it, and I'm still surprised so many people didn't....
