They are not a couple yet but yes they currently don't have any chemistry. I'm guessing their relationship will improve in the next season.

I'm not sure if they'll be a couple at all!! Their dynamics are in the rough right now and it only seems like their relationship will get extremely complicated and complex and not romantic which will be interesting to see. As for the sex scene, I feel like the author put that in to show us the psychology of Pyeonghwa in bed which was affected by his trauma aka how he regains control as a coping mechanism and all that. It makes sense because the writer decided to give Pyeonghwa's backstory immediately after. I'm still curious to see what will become of the main characters in the future because I agree with you, Incheol is straight and he's just here for the job. I can however see Pyeonghwa developing an unhealthy obsession for him as time goes on
Ehhh the author already did that tho earlier. We know how he is in bed and that is he is a masochist/ sadist. So main sex scene is redundant. The way the couple are marketed and how people talk about them just threw me off I guess. Because where? There is nothing of substance between them. I think you’re probably Right about the obsession. The straight part bl doesnt gaf turning a straight man is like the most common plot lol. It’s the classic “I can’t cum without a dick in my ass now, and puss doesnt cut it” lol overall the art style is they only interesting part honestly, the story is all over the place and pacing is off
