so ive only read the novel up until chapter 5. and man that butler is goddamn annoying. pretty ssure no one asks for spoilers but imma just go ahead.

so the butler forced haejin to eat the food but the food is laced with heat inducing drug. then haejin went into an absolutely wild heat that he'd never experienced before, and the butler dragged him across the hall where nobody could see, dragged him even with his busted ankle (poor baby) and brought him to like a corridor where Lyle's room is nearby. then haejin practically crawled to Lyle's room against his own will and Lyle fucked him because he was affected by Haejin's crazy pheromone and he knotted him.

Next morning, Lyle woke up alone because Haejin remembered that Lyle didnt like it if he woke up next to him, then Lyle realized that somethings wrong and theres a commotion in Haejin's room. The Butler was practically strangling Haejin who is in a very weak state, and the butler was accusing Haejin of using heat inducing drug to seduce Lyle but Lyle dgaf abt that, because he saw Haejin was literally unconscious and hiss face was red, the butler was holding him tight by the collar. Lyle told the butler to release him and Haejin fell into bed like dead, Lyle got panicked and told everyone to call the doctor.


Then Lyle went to invesitage all the things happened in the mansion, because apparently he never cared abt whatevers happening in the mansion before. But now its gotten out of hand, so he reviewed all the cctvs while all of the butlers maids and house staffs were detained in the party hall. he found out everything about what happened to Haejin, he was never fed, clothes were stolen and sold, he was insulted and whatnot. so Lyle felt disgusted because he realized that he was not much of a different than them, he was kind of the enabler.

Haejin was still unconscious, they had to sedate him so that they can put IV drip on him and all that without him getting scared out of trauma. Lyle was busy investigating and then when he went to check on Haejin, no one was in the room. He panicked, went looking around frantically, then he saw the window was open, theyre on the ground floor, so Haejin escaped from the window. It was raining heavily but Lyle tracked him with Haejin's lingering pheromone and he eventually found him, listless, empty like he was just wandering aimlessly, trying to get out of the stupid mansion. Lyle brought him back in, all the stupid house staffs were replaced and Lyle was planning to make the old staffs suffer for five years just as how much they had made Haejin suffered and he made sure they couldnt get any lawyers to defend them. Lyle asked Haejin why he didnt tell him that he'd been treated this badly, and Haejin told him that what would that change? he did tell him but nothing has changed. and that, damn, that hurts. Lyle was struck with those words, he remembered Haejin trying to tell him but he was dismissed just like that. andd from then on, Lyle was committed to make a change but he didnt know where to start.

omgg this feels like a whole novel, but thats about it.
