Reread this cuz I'd rated it 5 stars but I didn't remember anything about it. Finished and dropped a 1 star. ML was fantastic but couldn't stand the MC. Sure, he was realistic but being realistic doesn't equate to being a good or likable character. He was far too pathetic for me, and remained a coward throughout. Self serving to the very end. ML was a literal Saint in comparison. I genuinely don't see anything that drew the ML to the MC. ML genuinely only fell for the MC's wet cardboard personality because the plot required this. I bet I meant to add this to my 'Want to Read' list and accidentally misclicked.
