I'm still a bit surprised season 2 ended 13 episode short from season 1's length of 31. And unlike season 1, we don't have an author's note, which leads me to believe either the author or artist had something happen in their life that forced them to pause the series and focus on that, like a family emergency or bodily collapse (neither of them have updated twitter since May this year). Regardless of any case, I hope they're both doing well and will return relatively soon, and it's either intentional or a good coincidence the chapter ended on another cliffhanger.
