So I tried to let this marinate for a while, but i'm weak :,(( So with the recent chapters I really think the mc is 'the same' as guwon, as in being genetically manipulated or smth. He's also an unreliable narrator and is definitely leaving out some of his shenanigans.. I reckon when it became clear the world is ending some scientists tried to create humans that are capable of surviving by genetically enhancing them and all that crap, thats why guwon is strong and has the stitches etc. The mc is also like that, maybe modified so that he can't easily die? He forgot about it all and is actively trying not to remember, thats why there are bits and pieces hes leaving out. I think he got tired of living like that, thats why he's trying to end himself while sleepwalking, because he's 'back to his old self' When he had that nightmare about the moon, I think it's supposed to look like guwons eyes, but it's actually a surgical light shining on top of him. When guwon says he loves him because he's the only one in the world who is like him, I think he means it literally. (Sidepoint: his dad could actually not be his dad, it could just be another researcher pretending so he thinks hes normal, but i don't think that matters much)
