to be honest, the ml was weird at first but what I like of his character was he was honest about his like and dislike so you can't hate him for wanting his relationship only as physical with the mc in the beginning. He still hasn't developed feelings. and mc was understandable because it was the first time he felt an attraction and felt good, and care even though they don't have any label. That's why the ml's fuck buddy too was mistaken and thought there's more. ml was just too good with his fuck buddy. and second ml, also weird he knows the mc likes someone else and obviously was uncomfortable but still keep pushing himself. Still kinda understandable because he likes him? but his personality only thought about fucking the mc without telling his intentions from the start. he someone you wouldn't expect to do something bad at you because they come off as good character
