There is a simple solution to your problem.

As much as I agree with an age gap veing problematic in real life when it is about the relationship of a teenager (be it a one year age gap, 5 years or 10 or even a teenager being in a relationship at all)... this is fiction. If you don't like it you can easily skip it and NOT read it.
I also have a problem with a big age gap in a heterosexual relationship both in real life and in fiction, so I don't read books where the age gap is just too big. I also don't go after the author of those books and harass them or attack them or disrespect them for writing a story where there is an age gap, because IT'S FICTION and I can easily just go read what I do like.

If you don't have the capacity to separate fiction from real life, then don't read books.

Besides, it's an omegaverse, you don't CHOOSE your fated partner.

Thank you! Finally somebody who shares the idea of "if you don't like it, don't read it"

Right?! Like, I don't know why some people just can't understand or learn it even though it's THAT easy! Somehow they HAVE to ruin it for everybody (*`へ´*)
