There’s no reason for rape that’s why it’s a crime
why would you look at dohun through the lens of a normal person? he has been completely isolated from the world for most of his childhood and spent it all obsessing over yuwon. he is HEAVILY messed up in the head and if he wasnt with the object of his obsession for all those years, how do you think it would have affected him? he is not a person with a normal childhood and he has an inherently flawed worldview that comes from a children’s book. with such a messed up twisted mind, its not surprising that he could do such a thing to yuwon (not excusing it at all)
Obviously he’s messed up because of his past we saw that in the flashback. That doesn’t change the fact that we’re also seeing development in these very same flashbacks. Unless there’s a reason that we will see in the future why he completely reverted that development it makes no sense after all this progress he goes back to 0 and rapes the mc

i think you'd understand it if u saw it that dohun doesn't think it was rape. for him sex is one of yuwon's needs. like money and the house. we know this isn't really what yuwon actually desires but to dohun that is what they need to be happy. u gotta remember that the only people who he interacted in his developmental years was his brother (who uses sex as coping and teaches dohun the same) and his father (who values those who take what they want).
he developed a fucked up view on intimacy bc of that. back in their highschool years they also were very sexually active as a way of ignoring their reality so dohun began to see that as their normal. so yeah even if yuwon says no, to dohun what he really wants is to be relieved of the burden of his reality by sex. u can see that pretty much all the times yuwon tries to bring up something, dohun fucks him and it's in part bc of that. I also think some of it, is for a way to feel more in control of yuwon, who keeps denying their fate. it's basically an "just give in to me already" at least that's what I think
Yeah no after this chapter genuinely makes no sense that dohun would rape mc when he’s had this much mental development & clarity about love in his early years
