That’s because most BL readers view the stories only by how hot the characters are and how good the sex scenes are. So those nuances are often missed and at this point I just assume a lot of the people on here skim the rest of the story outside of the sex scenes. The whole green flag shit always is used in tandem with dumbing down an entire character to their most base level personality traits anyway.

Nah I’m starting to think that cause how are people saying it’s there comfort manhwa but suddenly getting angry over angst like the story already hasn’t brought in angst before and even the way the author handled it was so good cause it showed such a realistic approach this is why this manhwa is my comfort manhwa with the representation, topics being brought up and the realism being brought into it like the story shares so many people’s experiences to the point u feel a connection to the characters like this is the main issue I have with the bl manhwa space a lot of people aren’t actually comprehending the story and just wanting to focus on the smut and fluff they are missing such important pieces to the story

A lot of representation in this manga won’t be a universal feeling for every reader though. And honestly that’s what I really liked about it too. Like I’m not gonna say this is the gold standard for a realistic gay romance but it’s pretty good at handling their relationship without falling for all the standard BL bullshit. But I guess a lot of readers just see Yeorum as this fun, brainless top so having him show his self doubts makes them angry. It’s mind boggling.
Im going to be honest here the way y’all are behaving its rude like y’all are saying its ur comfort bl manhwa but that doesn’t mean angst wouldn’t happen even in season 1 we see the angst of their relationship being that the mc was struggling with the relationship especially the age gap between them and we saw that in the story that they needed this for the relationship to progress and even in this season we see the main plot was to build there relationship further and with the cliffhanger it’s not even ass yeah it makes the audience anxious on what’s the main plot focus is going to be for season 3 which it will likely be about yeorum and him properly dealing with his trauma and issues cause that even builds there relationship further as cause just like s1 were the mc was running away from his issues the same thing applies to yeorum when focusing on his trauma and the author has constantly sprinkled that into the story for us like this manhwa was and has always been a story were it’s not just about comfort but also bringing in realistic issues of a relationship especially a queer relationship like I hate how this trend of y’all slandering stories u classify as green flags as soon as they want to head to the angst of the story u completely start slandering it like yes comfort and green flag manhwas need angst to help build the story and if u can’t handle that then stop reading this
