story and main plots are the same, but character and story pacing-wise it falls flat compared to the novel.
Like there were some immersive scenes that made some characters stand out, to which the manhwa just kinda glossed over or changed it so it could fit in one or two panels— which lessens the impact of the scene. Tbf an example i mentioned was a minor detail, not to worry about major scenes. a lot of manhwa adaptations does this i feel, its just a shame that manhwa only readers wont get the same vibe as reading the novel. Just an opinion but the characters felt quite flat in comparison to the novel
