His ex husband bought/took him in from that brothel, and after he died Yuta took over the leadership position (?). The son in law treated Yuta like a toy bc he is technically his father's prostitute,, and bc he was supposed to take over his father's place as leader, if Yuta never joined the family.
Yuta have 2 goals. To bring the entire Kujo family down,, and to die whilst placing the guilt on Seunghyun. He's getting revenge for how the Kujo has trapped and tortured him,, and also to Seunghyun for abandoning him.
Yes but this could've shown before he takes action to take kujo down or whtv. Like not a single full flashback, it's so rushed and didn't make sense for the story. I thought we will have greater villain than fucking bum tetsu, turn out this clown was the main villain. Ugh.
I understand the confusion, Yuta never really explain his reasoning word per word, it was always subtle hints from him. The plot was mostly explained through Seunghyun's pov and guesses, but I wouldn't call it rushed.
Yuta and Seunghyun's story is much simpler than Dooshik and Jooha's. They're more mature in age so there's less drama, no running away/separation arc is needed bc deep down they know what each other is thinking,, their misunderstandings were addressed straightforwardly by Seunghyun in the end too.
If anything, I would argue the greatest villain in the story is Yuta and Seunghyun themselves. They could've run away and ask for protections (since they both have money and connections), and yet they keep on hurting each other/choosing to get hurt, bc they love and wanted to protect each other. Very ironic indeed.
Thank you for this explanation! I always feel like something missing, confusing, and lacking in this story. Turns on it's the pov. The seunghyun pov makes yuta action in this entire story just didn't make sense for me. This story need to explained by yuta pov for me T-T
I don't understand the plot like why he go with that son in law, what's his goal, what's his past with ex husband, none of that ever showed.
