The gist of it is, doram was on death's door and seme in a desperate attempt to save him, crammed dorams soul back. He was dead and so his soul was leaving for the afterlife, and when top slammed it back in, it only made up for half his soul, not the whole thing. To save him from dying a premature death from his half soul, they need to a) turn doram in to an eternal being like sema; and to do that they need to b) release his old memories.
Top knowingly released dorams memories, since hed rather have him angry and alive, rather than dead and happy.
He gave doram the option on purpose, he wanted doram to live and choose him again, despite the horrible memories
I will say, it's a little rushed, should've waited a chapter or two more for doram to forgive Mr. Tiger god, but I'm not mad Abt it ¯_(ツ)_/¯
I kind of skimmed through this story because I thought the top was toxic. Sorry can someone explain what happened after Doram “died”?? Like I see that he was turned into an eternal being? But what happened after that and why are they suddenly in love again I thought doram was mad
