I don't see why it has to start in chronological order? This trilogy may have been an idea to build up on the world lore from Symrna and Capri OR she had planned from this begninning.
As for her starting with Symrna and Capri instead of Blossoms, it could just be a technique in storytelling she prefers
I think this is a more unique way, it piques people's interest also! what's more interesting, starting a book from the beginning or knowing the end without being aware what led to the end?
I was just wondering as to why she didn't release the trilogy in order? Like why not start with "Beginning of the planet"? I don't have any problems with reading it as the past but I was just curious
