I think it's the present because in Ch 32 last panel there's Mok-yeon & Nanjo 's picture lying on the floor .
oh shit. i stand corrected, i didnt catch that at all. ok wow, now im super curious as to what the hell happened from the end of s1 to now lmaooo.
yea so the end of the chap is still in the past, mok-yeon didnt randomly get super skinny and depressed. in the qna after s1 the author drew a pic of mok-yeon in the past and specified that he was skinnier with longer hair.
