No wait it’s actually cute and I don’t think it’ll take that many chapters, but I was also irritated but it was kinda underwhelming since I was excited to see what would happen after but afterwards it skipped automatically to the future

He doesn’t tell chase til literally the last minute. Deadass when chase meets Pete in real life after a traumatic experience that’s when he tells him
