I'll be honest here, I don't get the hype for this dude at all. He's supposed to be the reason your sister died and somehow we go from hating him to now loving and living only for him? Why do these kind of novels keep making women fall for men below average that clearly do not want them ? It's so misogynistic to always have the female lead chase and act a certain way for a man, depending only on him as if she couldnt keep herself on her own feet...
It's just beyond sad that the issue with the other dude isn't talked about much either in the story. He's used just to get to another man while his own feelings are on the line. Not only that, but he's also SA'd and forced into a relationship for reasons we have yet to discover, that he does not want to maintain what so ever. Maybe he's also done wrong by forcing his feelings onto the female lead, but clearly he wants to escape a cicle and doesn't manage his feelings as well as we would normally want to. Doesn't justify him being used based on that tho.
Lastly, why go after a married man which is so stuck on a cheating non responsive wife that also forced and most likely manipulated him mentally for her personal gain? And on top of that the one your sister had an affair with? Have we forgotten about that and her own sister completely or what? He clearly does not want her in that way and is stuck in a toxic cicle he forced himself to stay on since he can't seem to let go, he depends on his wife after all.
I really wanted to like this because of the artwork and the beginning of the story, but now everything feels odd and too forced, the plot has lost meaning sadly
