Thank u sm I 100% agree like Eyan (MC) acts exactly like every gross abusive harasser in power. “They dress pretty, SLUT!” “Can’t look that good without being a SLUT!” “He’s good in bed, CHEAP WHORE!” And I’m barely paraphrasing I absolutely lost it when he called him a cheap whore. And even if he was, why do you get to use him however you want? I get that he’s suspicious bc ML supposedly had a first love and doesn’t know it’s him, and I’m not even upset that he isn’t putting it together (even tho it’s… super obvious…) but are people not allowed to move on? AND, you USED HIM FOR YOUR NEW MUSIC!!! He was sitting around smugly happy to have used their one sex encounter (that ML was very hurt by bc MC ignored him after) and put explicit references like strawberries and things ML said in bed, and when ML justly released a quality diss track he acts like ML is gonna out him. He rly can’t see outside himself enough to understand anybody else. I have a lot of grace for closeted characters like him, but it’s always impact > intent and there are no excuses for bad behavior!!!!!
The more I read the more pissed off I get at the MC and his actions/thought process. I understand he had a shitty first relationship and is still hung up on it, but that doesn’t excuse him constantly calling the ML a slut. MC says he denies the ML’s flirting and pursuing, but it’s fine to have him give you a BJ multiple times. Atp it’s more like he’s projecting himself (potential self hatred or scars from what his shitty ex told him) onto the ML instead, imo.
Now in chapter 24 ML expresses his frustration and doesn’t want to do anything sexual. Yet even though he’s expressed this multiple times, as soon as they enter, the MC grabs him and kisses him when he states once more he didn’t want to do anything besides just talk. This is just the last straw for me tbh. I find Eheon (ML) interesting and fun to watch but the way MC treats him and how he thinks about him I just can’t stand anymore.
Tiny pet peeve of what I assume is probably true is ML most likely met MC when he was in high school and has liked him ever since. I’m personally just not a fan of this trope (couple that first meeting/crush moment is when one is a minor and other an adult) yet so many stories do it like It’s getting tiring
