The way this is literally my situation rn with my parents and this comment popping up is actually insane to me. It really put me at ease lmfao cause I’m always thinking I’m not doing enough for them and their business but when really it shouldn’t be my problem that they can’t afford to put their business up. So thanks for giving me the realization LOL.

Not to talk shit about the mom but it's super clear that she can barely keep that business running and if you can't afford to hire help or your business surviving heavily relies on the free labor of your child then you shouldn't have it. She needs to sell and get a basic job. Be a cashier, be an office worker. Work your way up to management and ride that wave to retirement.
You're guilt tripping your kid with your inability to run your business and I'm not here for it.
