I see many people get confused over that "I would have raised you" part but I think it's based on the person.... When I was in a relationship with my ex gf and her mom treat her so bad that I would try to babying my gf even though she's 26 cuz I think she also needed the childhood she deserves and then my feeling trun from love into mother hood due to that and I accidentally try to act more like her mom due to that tho because I'm so mad of how her mom treated her and I always thought that If I was her mom. I would definitely treat her better. But later I just realized I'm dating and not adopting a girl. So later I just act like her real gf tho. So thought kind of thought happened when you so madly in love and wish to fulfill every part of blank she has. And I think it become due to how she feels guilty over her too. Yk yk.

Nod nod I didn't find it weird either, it's just natural imo when you want your gf to be happy and you love them flaws and all.
Seriously my heart broke into 1000 pieces when Yeongwon started defending her pos family, if you backtrack her actions everything makes so much sense. I'm glad Seungji was able to heal teen Yeongwon at least a bit

Finally who see my point of view!!! Love you for agreeing me thanks you. I also felt really sad and heartwarming in that scene where she want to treat her better but I saw some people thinking it's weird. For me it's just so sweet. I can felt so many love in each scenes when she call her "my baby" and try to treat her better than she had ever did and try her best to make her feel ease in her arm. She might felt so guilty over what she had done and it reaches to the point where she want to fix ever mistake she make and even want to try fix what her parents did to her. She just want her baby to get a better childhood just like she deserves. Not it mean in weird way tho. She love her as a mom, as friends, as partner and as sister. I just love the characters relationship development.

YES YES totally agreed!! Yeongwon is obviously terrified and has this overwhelming fear of abandonment, she pushed away Seungji so many times. Yet present Seungji has grown, now she knows how much she disappointed a good person who just had a bad childhood. Every time Seungji reassures Yeongwon and she becomes more secure my heart melts a bit aahh.. The path was long and painful but they couldn't have built an honest relationship otherwise. Please stay happy though I don't think my heart could take another betrayal. My heart literally sank when Yeongwon got stabbed I had to pause the series for several months because I was too shocked and depressed. And hehe no worries I'm just happy to see another person with media literacy and empathy <3
