That kid is really like weirdly well-adjusted for someone whos been locked up and isolated most of his life.
i guess he did live until 17 (near to adulthood) a bit normally—although probably not really what anyone would consider normal but enough for him to understand societal rights and wrongs—but all the years afterwards, and for ten years now, his sexuality has been exploited, and maybe that explains why he initiates sex so much and lacks boundaries? i don't know if that's the author's intention though because i haven't read their other works
Even grown adults literally lose their mind after being removed from society for just a couple weeks, let alone years.
he wasn't completely removed from society, but he was heavily exploited and allowed nearly zero autonomy, so i can see why he behaves as he does
i'd like this story more if it was more angsty and less smutty but i still like it a lot ! the plot is fresh, and the characterisation is interesting
