I can fully understand why they would want to save Ma Joseok in the Webtoon, as he was essentially an Anti hero like The Punisher, who only killed/went after those who were criminals and ultimately deserved it. And I agree with his train of thought, so many lives lost and the police aren't finding these people. Now, to find out that the head Huncho is also a host, just the icing on an already shit cake. But the way they changed it in the Kdrama made Ma lose his anti hero status because he does eventually kill innocents. I don't know why the decided to change the story cos it also made So Mun's need to save him so irrational. It also brings the question "why have the counter not get involved with real life matters". For crimes like these where countless of innocent people are killed, driven to take their own lives, etc, the suped up Counters would be the best to "help" the police catch this people, alongside Hosts.
