The BL community does have Gay, Pan, Asexual Man included i.e Mostly goes by their pen name, including Women except alot of Women sex are often time mostly out to public due to their work being mostly known.
I recommend you reading "Here U Are" and " To the star and back". This are two notable work that I know of which the Author are both Gay man.
All this time i thought "brothers without a tomorrow" is a dude cuz of the "brothers" lol. Then again I've never seen a male artist or author of yaoi and bl manhwas :(
