People need to stop accusing a predominantly LGBTQIA+ readership community of being pro SA unless they explicitly state, everytime, that SA is BAD, ACTUALLY. Readers are not creators.
There is currently no way to have mature discussions about wanting less SA in stories while understanding that SA is real and people write about what they have experienced and what they see around them as a way of processing trauma.
The way this is all playing out will see LGBTQIA stories censored en masse, a product of a minority culture taking away their own artistic voice.
Here is a foundational fandom rule observed for decades: Don't like, don't read. Stop being a fking cop and hurting your community because you don't understand how conservatism affects everyone - even you. Calling most likely queer people predators is not achieving what you think it is.
I guarantee everyone wants to see much less SA! Jumping straight to calling everyone an abuser is such a destructive and weird leap and not a good way to prove your moral values. Consider the rates of abuse and what the chances are of that person being a victim! No one thinks reading a spy drama makes a reader a murderer or pro murder.
If a story makes you uncomfortable, then please consider if you are actually old enough to read it, and just read something else. There is a lot of nuance to be had in conversations, but it must come from a foundation of being well read across the board. Read about LGBTQIA+ history in order to be in community with others in a respectful manner. Allow conversation about themes and character without treating it like people are holding that character or stories as their favourite or an example of perfect morality and real life.

I hate SA too as I have morals and always felt bad about the characters in their situations, but I did read about it in yaoi when I was younger.
