This is my favorite from this author. I love mature readings and adult characters. The mc, Daichi, is pretty relatable in the way he's just going in easy mode trough life with nothing that sticks to him but still being a responsible student and good guy. His personality is pretty attractive to me. Like he is someone you can talk to, supportive and he's someone that includes you in his decisions. Of course the misunderstanding and drama all came from the other party, Nao. An adult who is insecure but tries very hard and works even harder to the point of burning out. And when he let his guard down, he fell for the convenience store clerk who was nice to him one day he was feeling very defeated. If Daichi wasn't that much of a pushover probably Nao wouldn't have tried anything and he really seduced Daichi... took advantage of his drunken state is more appropriate. He kinda assaulted him because Daichi was drunk, both of them, but Daichi was already thinking of the possibility of getting into bed with Nao so Nao taking the first step actually helped him. Still, a bit weird that part. Granted this is not like the author's other works. There are not many sex scenes but plenty cute moments and a lot of communication. But of course, leaving behind what they actually should talk because of... Plot. Still. I loved this. Worth reading.
