It's like pulp fiction if it was 30 minutes long. Mostly making confusing jumps between the past and present, leaving a lot of stuff unanswered and/or some plot holes and just being a bit confusing overall. Plus the dynamic isn't really as grand as people make it out to be.
Either way we won't really know until the whole thing is finished, it's just that for a first season it felt a bit rushed or mumbo jumbled you could say.
