Of course, and I don't blame Young, he's in a bad place in his mind, I'm just tired of the trop of third parties showing up and possibly trying to sexually assault one of main characters... I can feel it from a mile away, right at the moment when red head showed up, that it's more likely for the author to use this path again here and slightly loosing interest to be honest, ehh...
People don’t always make the ‘right’ choice all the time. They make mistakes, learn from it and repeat the mistakes too. That’s life. Young choosing to go with red head reflects his character and is more realistic given his situation.
