Deadass now the kongest stories come from novels and the narrative is so good too and you're right, we had more silly and longer stories it's kinda frustrating now, i wonder if it has anything to do with yaoi going even more popular on the internet that they're even using it for advertisement and straight people even joke about it
Yup, it's gotten awfully popular, i kinda don't like it. Though it does help queer people in reality i think.
It's getting more depressing for me because things like pizza delivery man, etc which don't have novels have ended so a new era is really starting. Only ennead and covenant are left i think
Before, every yaoi had the silliest concepts and authors would stretch them to oblivion and create 100+ chapters. The art would be rather poor but it would evolve with time and holy hell it would be godly by the end. And now every story is like 10-20 chapters long and longer ones are always adaptations. The art is similar everywhere. Even the good art styles can be found in 5-6 different manhwa. Just wanted to say that for some reason. Both have bad aspects. But issok i love yaoi <3
