I’m so upset at the ending, I can think of two ways this could have ended better, the story overall was amazing. I love how their relationship progressed, but the author gave us nothing at the end. I feel like it ended on a bad note looking at the MC’s dream of the ML getting married to someone else, and then the fact that they couldn’t get married, let alone come out to their friends.
Even though I’m very upset, I still give the story four stars. I get that same-sex marriage isn’t allowed in Korea yet but the fact that the MC couldn’t come out to his parents or his friends or secretly get married in America or any other country, which is allowed. He has money, he has the resources, but he chooses just to be jealous. It just frustrates me.
I get that not everyone might be supportive of their relationship, the years which the story take place being gay wasn’t really accepted in society. I just wished they were able to come out and get support from some of their friends at least some of them. it doesn’t have to be all their friends. It doesn’t have to be both of the MC‘s parents, but I just wished they were able to express themselves and be comfortable.
