Seems to me like Ray just needs Ban (or his blood?) for something and when he found out Ban liked him, he was like 'I can use this to bind him to me even more' and that's why he sleeps with him. Feels like he's not even attracted to Ban at all. At first I thought he was just a simple pervert but now I feel like there's an extra layer of assholery behind his actions.
