I really don’t wanna say this, but Ed is so cringe. There is no reason for him to use the word “exhilarating” at least once per chapter like he has some sort of invisible quota to meet Idk if it’s just me but that word, in any context ed uses it, makes me cringe, worsened by the fact that nothing she does really warrants the use of the word. It’s like when you use an adjacent meaning of the word, like calling a minor inconvenience catastrophic. IT. DOESNT. FIT. And Ed’d reaction make it feel even more out of place. If it’s sooo exhilarating, why don’t you look, well, exhilarated….
