actually, there's a genetic factor that plays from 40 to 65% in the kids aggressive/antisocial behaviour. Since Chowon is a very unstable person, and he's the only one passing his genes to Bin, PLUS the fact that he's emotionally avoidant of her, there was no one she could ever grasp or develop even the slightest trait of Kyungsoo. But a person can influence other person on character/ personality traits like humbleness and being soft-spoken from someone close by. She's just straight up arrogant as if Chowon was the only one raising her! She could have adopted Kyungsoo's soft spoken self... She could be frustrated at the other students for not understanding what she understood in classical music but she can't be mad at someone for not being interested in classical music just because she's interested!! (I'm just letting out my thoughts) The author probably intended it that she'll be arrogant like Chowon.

As I said, I'm adopted and did not know until I was roughly 13 or so. I act like my dad; as I've grown older, I've softened— but his attitude still shines when it needs to. So when they told me, I was shocked. People literally call me *dad's name* Junior, all because I act like him. So I am a strong believer that children aren't entirely products of their parents' biology, but of their environment/people around them
Yes ... Some might still take after their parents traits due to strong genes but it's mostly depends on the children's surrounding. And I'm happy for you (●'◡'●)ﾉ wish you all the happiness buddy!
