I feel like the point of this was to say that /was/ no way he could have loved him in the past. And if they got the chance to try again without the sol/luna social confines, it might be better, sweeter, or purer.
Yeah but they never even developed a deep relationship either..I think my issue is that they played it up like it was going to be a super tragic backstory (which on paper of course it was awful) but we never got to feel that emotional aspect/attachment that makes it believable that they'd have such a strong magnetism to each other now
I'm a little disappointed?? They hardly interacted in their past life and we didn't really see that muhan made his worries feel smaller or anything, it just kind of felt like he'd force a smile to placate him...there wasn't any chemistry there or anything? Just muhan chasing him around
