Wouldnt say the story is bad or disturbing,....but theres nothing notably good or unique either. No cohesive overarching plot, no unique characters, and events just kind of blatantly happen one after another with little build up. The story never hints at anything either, just blatantly voices everything out loud(like how Toph just proclaims that shes the metal bender in NATLA).
The MC is funny,.. at first. But his comedy is very much just these internally screaming one-liners that are intended to portray a sense of relatability. Its funny a few times but is overall pretty simplistic writing.
All in all, its kind of a cliche beta-turned-omega + green flag ML. But the ML so far has also been very flat to me, just a kind but strict guy
