okay tbf calling it purely love isn't entirely correct since he was seeing minwoo in chan-il but i like to believe his feelings weren't that straightforward
love is weird, especially if you're not in the right mindset. idk i get this feeling that despite that what started as seeing ghosts from chan-il's face his grew much deeper and complicated than that
alright rambling over lmao i just wanted to gush about these two since i feel like their relationship in particular doesn't get talked about enough in favor of cirrus/skylar which is deserved but ueah
I agree with you, I actually rooted for Skylar and Chan-il for a while cause I didn't particularly like Cirrus' behaviour but I do have to say, at the end I started to think about how I would feel in this situation myself and I would have fallen for Cirrus' obsessiveness myself. I want someone to love me so desperately that they lose their mind around me and for me. So I was mad a Cirrus because he was getting in the way but when I realized he was doing it because he had feelings, I started to like it because its not like he did anything to terrible except for the extortion and the forced kiss.

MAN it's not even the main focus of the manhwa all things considered but the one sided love skylar had for chan-il is still the most devastating thing for me whenever i come back to reread.
so painfully realistic when you've been in that situation, the angst is so palpable cirrus and skylar are my pookies and they're truly each other's soulmate but what my greedy ass wouldn't give for a mini AU of the story where we get to see chan-il being the one to confront skylar's demons and helping him fix it alongside him :(
