I think… im just guessing (based on what little i know of Taoism and Buddhism mixed) that muhan is still buried beneath the three bc his soul was never laid to rest and the tragic aspect is jaheon may resemble the one he loved maybe even share the same soul but he isn’t the one he loves (and hopefully muhan can be laid to rest). idk how to word it bc in a way muhan isn’t mugo and mugo isn’t muhan??? it’s probably a bit too old and very spoilery but if you ever read dgrayman and the protagonist is revealed to be the reincarnation (aka vessel) for another soul and it’s almost horror in the way the former soul possesses him and rewrites him into someone who he is not. honestly i think the hatred comes from just the fact that one may cease to exist or be overwritten if they can’t find peace?? (like how all the mugos had to fight for the spot to be conscious) but again…. Personal conjectures at this point
Yeah that makes sense (I misphrased that Muhan IS Mugo- I meant that that at the very least Mugo came from Muhan). Like Muhan is sort of the base of Mugo?? Mugo is the "god" born from the human Muhan. So they're the same but also not at the same time is how I see it. Anyway I get it. Whoever spends more time in the flesh gets stronger while the rest can potentially fade away. Also agreed about Jaheon and the ancestor. Maybe he resembles his ancestor because MAYBE they share souls which affects his physical features into looking like the ancestor but they're so vastly different and when I think of it that way it's clearly that he isn't the person Muhan loved. So on that basis, do the Mugos love Jaheon or did they feel the connection to the soul, I wonder. Because doesn't Mugo kill the sacrifices? But he chose to keep Jaheon alive...

I have so many things to say about this but I'm too sad...
So is Jaheon the reincarnation of his ancestor (forgot his name)? If he is then it's so sad that his ancestor was never able to be happy. And does this Lee Muhan who's taken over Lord Mugo exist as one of his personalities now? Why do the Mugos despise Muhan? Is it because they felt powerless as Muhan and couldn't protect the one he loved (which would be the one the Mugos' love too since Muhan IS Mugo)?
