The baby having his eyes is the thing that got me very suspicious. I’m starting to believe him and MC hooked up one night and thats how the baby came to be. And then he tried to run away because of the baby
Bruh. Mc literally said it was 100% impossible when his mom(or was it his aunt) asked him of it was his. He didn’t even question it meaning there is no chance they ever hooked up. Also in one scene when the omega questioned it he also pointed out how someone else had the same eye color, there for proving it could just be a common eye color in that world. Now if the mc somehow does end up being the father then the author is a terrible writer and does bot understand how the human brain works and thinks of stuff.
if it does end up being MC, then the only explanation i can think of is that maybe he went into rut and forgot it ever happened. that's been used in other omegaverse stories i've read

You do realise that the whole “hidden omega & forgetful amnesiac rut” trope happens a lot? That’s what I was referring to. Think of the desire me if you can series as an example.
Yeah i did lowkey forget about that trope bc i’m stupid but i’m sorry, desire me if you can series is a horrible example for this though because they didn’t actually forget the sex happened entirely they just forgot who it happened with. Although i guess we don’t know right bow if mc is a virgin or not so maybe he’s going through something similar.
