I think I kinda understand ML's train of thought, but still he was an ass, a coward, selfish, self-centered asshole. And he was like that for at least 2/3 of the story, ngl, I almost drop it but since I read it more than half way through, I just wanna finish it. The last 1/3 wasn't as bad as the first 2/3, but still, just like the other comment said, the storytelling wasn't so good. I also feel like there should be a proper closure fot the VP as well. One of the things I don't like about the last 1/3 is how VP believe what the scholar said, like did you really think your lover was like that??????? Oh well
