Started reading the novel because everyone in the comments was saying that the adaptation it’s bad, and omg IT IS SO BAD, the passing it’s horrible, it’s keep out most of the important parts of the traumatic experience, the ice cream shop, the pet shop scenes and more. And this are scenes that should have been shown to get to this part! Too fast and superficial…. I’m like in the middle of the novel and I just know that this adaptation won’t be able to really get the emotional weight of the novel if they keep being this meh Sad
